For Staten Island dentist, Dr Emanuel B. Graziano, dental implant dentistry is an art and a science which requires a continuing education that never stops.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

at Oakwook Dental Arts of Staten Island

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge in place. They can be used to replace one tooth or to replace all of your teeth. Whether you are missing one tooth or all of them, implants can help you eat better, feel more confident, look younger and have improved self esteem. They can be more conservative than traditional bridgework, because the surrounding teeth do not need to be filed down. Dental implants are so natural looking and feeling, that you may forget you ever lost a tooth. Dental implants can be the best solution to the problem of missing teeth. Since dental implants integrate into the structure of your bone, they can prevent bone loss and gum recession that often accompanies bridgework and dentures. By preventing the loss of the bony structure of the jaws and face they prevent facial collapse. This preserves your youthful appearance. No one will ever know that you have a replacement tooth.

• Replaces tooth root, which preserves bone.

• Does not require grinding down adjacent teeth.

• Prevents bone collapse, providing better long-term youthful appearance.

• Cleaned like a natural tooth– more hygienic.

• Looks, feels, and functions like natural teeth–but does not decay.

• Dental Implants for complete teeth loss.

• Dental Implants for one missing tooth.

• Dental Implants for loose dentures.
A few precisely placed implants can stop dentures from coming down or sliding around.
